About the event
It's understandable to feel overwhelmed by the state of the world. Sometimes we need to disconnect in order to take care of ourselves. Sometimes we need art, community, and intentionality in order to move forward and support our well-being. Through writing, art-making and community connections, we have the power to craft flourishing and joyful Queer futures. This on stage conversation will feature local authors and community leaders who use their creative practices to build community and amplify Queer voices in Denver and beyond. Together we'll look at how writing and art can be a resource for self-care and a vessel for investing in our communities. We'll have craft supplies available during the conversation for all attendees to use and create something to take home as a reminder of what our Queer futures can hold.
Panelists will include Toluwanimi Obiwole, Dylah Ray, and Nyasha Williams.
